Heeeeiiiilllllooooo people! Ok today I want to talk about t his new book from Bobbi Brown (Ok...I know it's not that new but I just got it, so it's new to me). I like the book so much and you can learn a loads of tips and tricks here from this superb manual. I would say she really gives you what you really want to become make up artist.

What I like most about this book, that she never really restricted any particular techniques or styles to adapt/ follow...all she say is follow your style because anything works for you then just keep doing it. I also believe that all pro make up artists have their own styles and the styles really works for them, actually that particular style makes them famous. So just embrace your style and go for it!!

This book really inspired me to pursue my dream as make up artist, and I know there are so many things I need to learn to improve my make up skills. Pray for me folks!!! To be frank I really can't find my confident yet, and that's why I never try to be part time make up artist (for bridal purpose). Well may be one day....sooooonnnn.

So for you people out there, if you really love this make up thing...I think this book is for you. And TRUST ME it is SUPERB!!!!

Hmmmm...What a Challenge!!!

Ok....when my mom saw my sister pictures in here, she was like..... I don't believe her can make me look good. Man, she really dare me to make up her. Hmmm...what a challenge. I am far than good, but my brother kept pushing me to do the make over to my mum.

I was quite scared coz she is expert....she is 56 years old now and she started wearing make up since she was 19 years old until now. I mean she is really master about all this make up thingy. Then I think again,well it's a good challenge and practice to me, so I just accept her challenge and below are the results. (So sorry that I don't have her before look and also for the image quality, I forget where I put my camera so I just used my handphone to take er pictures)






Did I mentioned that she is 56 years old? Frankly speaking I love this look so much on her but then again it's very hard to please her, she doesn't like the smokey blue on her.....but mom you still look beautiful and young to me. So people what do you think?

Powder Blush

This should be applied over the top of your foundation and face powder. To apply powder blusher, dust over the compact with a large soft brush. If you have taken too much onto your brush, tap the handle on the back of your hand to remove the excess. It is better to waste a little than applying too much!

Cream Blusher

Cream blusher is applied with your fingertips, after foundation, but before face powder. To apply, dab a few dots over your cheeks, from the plump part up towards your cheekbone. Using your fingertips, blend well. Build up the effect gradually, adding more blusher to create just the look you want.

Foundation is always applied downwards, to minimize the impact of facial hair.

• Take out a small blob of foundation on the palm of your hand. As foundation dries up fast, dot foundation section by section on the face.

• Now do it on your cheeks, then chin, nose and upper neck.

You may dilute the foundation by adding some astringent, toner or even water to make it sheer enough to let your skin show through. It looks more natural if applied like this.

Test foundation on the inside of the forearm-skin tone is closest to neck colour there, because it's protected from UV damage. Makeup should blend with the skin colour of the neck, not the face. Since I don't have any model right now, so I use my own skin to be my victim. But for this session I only did my eyes make up. Why?! Because that's my trademark. I know that I don't have nice eyes but still I like those gifts from God to me.

Ok, so now let's talk about make up. To tell you the truth for me, the most hardcore thing in make over or make up is the eyes make up. Just like the wiseman said, eyes is the door to your soul....and I agree with that, I mean you can change your look just by putting make up/ eyeshadows to your eyes then waaalaaaa you will look different.

I created this look quite sometimes ago, and I like this look eventhough it's quite dramatic but still love this look. I got this inspiration from the image of the week in www.makeupgeek.com. It's good website and it really challenge your make up skill. Anyway, I can't show you the original picture for this look coz I have lost it...so too bad guys and I do really sorry about it.

My Another Next Top Model!!!

Wooohuuuuu!!! I got a new model. Well I know what you guys think about me...pretty craazy haa? Hmm...that's who I am. To tell you the truth it's very hard for me to get a model....so when I found one of I'll be happy.

This model I called he Wt. Honestly, it's not that hard to create this look for her. She has clean face (without pimple) and not many shadding I had to do to her, except I just need to make her a bit balnce coz she has a long face. But that's fine for me coz I had a great time doing this. Thanks Wt for being my next victim.

To tell you the truth I am quite hapy with the outcome but I know that I need to practice more. I like to this look because it makes her look vibrant. My sister even said that she looks like Korean actress but I don't know which one.
